KEYNAN KING OF LIONS

Proud ruler of the kingdom of Rune. He descends from an ancient line of power-hungry warriors who defeated Zhoor, lord of destruction, at the Battle of the Red Sky during the Age of Lions. Through a ritual performed by the Oracle of Fire and the blood of the first king, the lions were able to seal Zhoor away in the depths of the underworld. From then on, the blood of his descendants was forever cursed and became the key that would free him once again. Keynan, blinded by his thirst to expand his kingdom beyond what his predecessors had granted him, fell prey to the siren call of the forces of darkness. His boundless ambition led him to lose his kingdom and his only heir.
